Dude - where's my InfoCenter? What can I say, but sorry for the delays. The drop of InfoCenter coincided with me taking a new job and starting a new book, so InfoCenter fell by the wayside for a bit. Because I get paid for the job and the book, those have been coming first for the past couple of months.
I know some folks have written me asking about availability of a client for Podcasts, as the latest drop of Media Player didn't include podcast support. I will actually be releasing to web two versions of InfoCenter dropping soon. One is an add-in for Visual Studio, the other is .NET Framework 3.0 based. When the latter drops, I'll also drop a simple sample of how you can build one yourself. The new versions, by the way, utilize the common feed store you'll have with IE7 and/or Windows Vista. The Visual Studio integration is working and something I particularly like, as you can listen while your coding.
People have also commented that the blog's been quiet. My new job is as an architect on the incubation team, which means my work is almost exclusively hush-hush until Mix or PDC. It's *very* exciting stuff, but can't say much publicly until next year.
